On Thursday, *RACE ACADEMY – A True Motorsport Story*—which offers a look into the training of talents from the Formelaustria.at Race Academy (FARA) as they develop into Formula 4 and GT drivers—was named a finalist at the FICTS SPORT MOVIES & TV 2026 festival in Milan.

RACE ACADEMY – A True Motorsport Story offers an inside look at the training provided by the Formelaustria Race Academy (FARA)—Austria’s only professional development program for young racing drivers, which trains talent from around the world to become Formula 4 and GT racers.

The film was released in February 2026; it was directed by Koriun Khachesarian, with a screenplay by Harry Miltner.

The production celebrated its premiere with a VIP screening at the Lugner Kino in Vienna. Following this, the approximately one-hour-long motorsport documentary was broadcast on platforms including ORF Sport+, Motorvision TV, ServusON, and JOYN, where it remains available to watch today.

An English-language version is scheduled to arrive on Amazon Prime starting in late November.

“It is a great honor for us to be a finalist in this ‘World Championship’ of sports films,” said an enthusiastic Harry Miltner, FARA Program Director.

Enzo Cappiello, Secretary General of FICTS, also offered high praise for the world’s first feature-length film about Formula 4: “*RACE ACADEMY* is a highly compelling documentary about junior-level motorsport. We would like to warmly congratulate the Formelaustria Race Academy on having their work selected for the official final lineup of the ‘SPORT MOVIES & TV 2026 – 44th Milano International FICTS Fest’.”

*SPORT MOVIES & TV* is the only festival in this field recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
