The organisers of the revived F4 Germany have presented the official race calendar for the 2027 season. In July, the Formelaustria Race Academy drivers will enjoy home race action at the Red Bull Ring
Even though the calendar is still marked as provisional, because there has yet to be reached an agreement on whether F4 will be allowed to race on the Norisring street circuit, the dates are set.
The Formelaustria Race Academy has two slots on the 36-car grid thanks to its technical partnership with Renauer Motorsport and already numerous applications have arrived in the academy’s mailbox.
“Since the day we have posted on Instagram that we will be fielding two cars in Germany, we have been flooded with emails of drivers who want to join us,” programme director Harry Miltner confirmed.
However, “no decisions have been made yet,” according to Miltner. “The organisers of F4 Germany are know for high quality motorsport, so we are looking at a top level junior series.”
For this reason, Miltner and track director Florian Renauer not only are very carefully reviewing the applications, but also offering screening tests to potential candidates in September and October.
“These tests allow us to both get to know the drivers in person and also evaluate their current skill levels on and off track immediately,” Renauer explained.
