The Formelaustria Race Academy and racing partner Renauer Motorsport have secured two of the 36 highly coveted grid slots for the return of Formula 4 Germany next season!
“It has always been clear to us that we wanted to be on the starting grid when Formula 4 returned to Germany. Therefore, it’s all the more gratifying that team principal Sepp Renauer managed to secure two places for us,” says Academy Director Harry Miltner.
In Formula 4 Germany, 36 starting positions will be awarded, with each team allowed to field a maximum of four cars. 31 slots are already taken, so competition is fierce.
According to Miltner, it’s still undecided who will drive for the Formelaustria Race Academy at Renauer Motorsport in Germany next year.
“There are several candidates, and discussions are ongoing. But nothing has been decided yet. So we remain open to inquiries.”
In addition to competing in Formula 4 Germany, the academy and the team also plan to participate in the Formula 4 Central European Championship and, at the beginning of next year, in the Formula Winter Series in Spain and Portugal.
“From a Formula 4 perspective, we have a comprehensive program ahead of us in 2027, but this also gives us the opportunity to field several talented drivers simultaneously or to place drivers in two series,” Miltner said.
F4 Germany opens its season in April at the Hockenheimring and holds its finale in September at the Sachsenring. There will be one international race, which will be held at either Spielberg, Zandvoort, or Spa.
The championship will be a support series of the DTM in front of packed stands and will offer a prize pool of €500,000.
