Moser ready to go big in new GT4 season

This coming weekend, Formelaustria Race Academy driver Luis Moser enters his second year in GT racing.

From April 24-26, the ADAC GT4 Germany is holding its 2026 season opener at the renowned Red Bull Ring and Luis Moser is looking forward to starting the year with a home event.

Following a rollercoaster rookie season, the 17-year-old has moved to German GT giants FK Performance Motorsport, in order to take the next step in his career.

“I am very happy and highly motivated to work with FK Performance. They are one of the top teams in our sport and I will also get the chance to race together with my former teammate Luca (Link) again,” Moser is all smiles.

The young Austrian has been competing in the ADAC GT4 Germany since 2025 and finished last season on P4 in the rookie standings.

“Driving alongside Luca has always been a great pleasure, and our teamwork is at a very strong level. I’m confident together we can achieve a lot. Thus, I am super excited for the opener at the Red Bull Ring,” the teenager added.

Moser and Link will drive a brand-new BMW M4 GT4 Evo, which was “immediately a perfect fit. Already the first few laps at our shakedown of the new car in Spielberg felt like home straight away. Good pace, good vibes and only one more week until it really counts.”

“My clear goal is to consistently be at the front and fight for podium finishes. Together with the team, I want to continue developing, get the most out of every race weekend, and end the season where the team belongs – right at the top,” he added.

Formelaustria Race Academy director Harry Miltner is “highly positive about Luis’ 2026 season potential. After a difficult first year, now all ingredients for success are there. Let’s not put too much pressure on him though, as he is still young and should be given the time to develop gradually. But Luis is very talented, so I expect him to provide some highlights.”

ADAC GT4 Germany will hold race 1 at the Red Bull Ring on Saturday afternoon at 17:35 CET, while race 2 will start at 15:10 CET on Sunday. In addition, on Saturday around lunchtime, fans get the chance to meet their drivers, get autographs & selfies.
