Austria’s only professional junior driver programme presented itself to a quarter million sport fans in Vienna
Sports stars up close and personal, interactive stations, and a Vienna Heldenplatz square filled with passion and enthusiasm: Austria’s “Day of Sport” celebrated its 25th anniversary – and the Formelaustria Race Academy (FARA) was part of it.
250,000 people attended the traditional event on a sunny and warm Saturday, when FARA made its debut displaying a Renauer Motorsport Tatuus F4 T-421 race car in the historic setting between Hofburg and Heldentor.
Numerous race fans stopped by, taking selfies, chatting with team boss Sepp Renauer, FARA programme director Harry Miltner and FARA track director Flo Renauer, and collecting autographs.
“The Day of Sport has become a true institution on Austria’s sports calendar, so it was a given that we should be represented. We are thankful for the invitation to the Austrian Motorsport Federation (AMF) and the opportunity to present ourselves to the public once again,” Harold Ian Miltner, programme director of FARA, said.
Formelaustria Race Academy (FARA), Austria’s only academy dedicated to nurturing the next generation of motorsport talent, has priorities that extend beyond simply developing fast drivers. They are committed to building a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment—both on and off the track – for their talents aged between 13 and 19.
