Formelaustria Race Academy awarded Sport Leading Certification seal, a certification recognizing the academy’s innovative approach
The Formelaustria Race Academy has been certified as a Sport Leading Newcomer. This seal of approval recognizes the academy’s innovative and professionally oriented approach to developing young talent in international motorsport.
For Harold Ian Miltner, co-founder and program director, the certification is an important confirmation of the academy’s international focus: “We are based in Austria, but we operate globally. Therefore, this certification is the perfect way to officially validate our professionalism and passion for our sport.”
Anton Pichler, founder of Sport Leading Certification, also emphasizes the academy’s unique position: “The Formelaustria Race Academy demonstrates how professional and future-oriented the development of young talent in motorsport can be. This clear concept was decisive for the certification as a Sport Leading Newcomer.”
The Formelaustria Race Academy is a joint initiative of the F1 sports consulting agency HM Sports and Renauer Motorsport. It offers a two-year training program for karting talents and high-performing sim racers, aiming to facilitate their entry into professional formula racing. Racing legends such as Riccardo Patrese, Alexander Wurz, and Franz Tost contribute their extensive international experience as ambassadors. The program is complemented by media training, for example, which is led by former FIA F1 press spokesperson Alexandra Schieren.
The Sport Leading Certification seal of approval recognizes stakeholders along the entire sports value chain who demonstrably deliver quality, achieve impact, and assume responsibility. As an independent certification body, the Sport Leading Certification conducts certifications, calculations, and analyses for the sports and leisure industry, ensuring transparent assessments based on clear scientific criteria.
