Successful Cinema Premiere of RACE ACADEMY – Audience enthusiastic

“RACE ACADEMY – A True Motorsport Story,” the world’s first Formula 4 film, offers an exclusive glimpse into the rigorous training that young talents undergo to realize their Formula 1 dreams.

Formula 1 stars, racing drivers, and other celebrities attended the world premiere of RACE ACADEMY at the Lugner Cinema in Vienna last Friday and were thrilled by the film about young racing talents from Austria, Germany, and Canada.

“Developing young talent is the foundation for securing the future of Formula 1. And an academy is an essential part of that. Therefore, it’s not only fantastic that the Formelaustria Race Academy exists, but also that this film shows the many talented drivers, as well as the fans out there, what it takes to achieve their goals,” said Jost Capito, former team principal of McLaren and Williams in Formula 1.

Alongside Riccardo Patrese (1992 F1 World Championship runner-up) and Tonio Liuzzi (Red Bull’s first F1 rookie), Capito is one of the F1 experts who explain the intricacies of the sport to viewers in the film.

RACE ACADEMY follows the drivers of the Formelaustria Race Academy through all the highs and lows of a racing season. It showcases plenty of racing action and also addresses the challenges faced by the motorsport stars of tomorrow and their parents off the track.

“The film is really great. Afterwards, you understand much more how difficult it is for young drivers to fulfill their dreams than you think,” commented renowned actor and script writer Rudi Roubinek, alias Seyffenstein, himself an enthusiastic classic car driver.

“Mr. Ferrari” Heribert Kasper was also impressed: “The work Harry (Miltner) is doing with his academy is fantastic. And the film is truly outstanding. Every racing talent should really watch it – together with their parents.”

Formelaustria Race Academy founder and program director Harry Miltner conceived the idea for the film and wrote the screenplay; Koriun Khachesarian of Miltner’s agency HM Sports directed it.

Following its cinema release, RACE ACADEMY will air in Austria on ORF (and ORF.ON) and Puls4 (JOYN) starting in March. An English-language version will then be broadcast on Eurosport and Amazon Prime, as well as on numerous international television channels.
